Jaclyn is currently creating in her studio in Pawtucket, RI. Heavily influenced by classical composition, she explores the complexity of the contemporary female through both expression and medium.
Jaclyn B. Tomasso was born in Attleboro Massachusetts, and began drawing at a young age. She studied Studio Art at Emmanuel College, where she received her Bachelors degree in 2009. In 2008 she traveled to Rome, Italy where she learned the art of Fresco painting. In the years that followed, Jaclyn dived into painting, experimenting with different subjects and techniques. In 2012 she gravitated toward the human form and portraiture, where her pursuit of art had originated. She continues to experiment with different mediums and the female form, merging that fascination with a love of pattern and fashion in her work.
